As part of our parent company CPL Distribution we are the UK’s first wood pellet distributor to achieve the ENPlus A1 standard for the quality of our service.
ENPlus are the European governing body responsible for ensuring that quality standards are maintained for the manufacturing and supply of wood pellets. Established in January 2011, ENPlus now monitor all wood pellet manufacturing and distribution companies to make sure that the end user receives a high quality fuel.
For manufacturers they have to carry out annual audits of their plants and undergo regular pellet testing by an official organisation. Production procedures and quality control is also monitored in order to preserve high standard levels.
Distributors, on the other hand, have to monitor their vehicles and driver training in order to keep quality standards at premium levels. Distributors have to pass an initial assessment and also random inspections periodically.
All ENPlus licensed members must ensure that their pellets can be traced back through the supply chain. This enables quick identification and resolution of any potential problem area.
Working with an ENPlus accredited company gives you assurance and certainty when buying your wood pellet fuel. We can identify exactly where the pellets have come from and we also carry out stringent checks to ensure the highest product quality. We also work hard to ensure that our wood pellets come from sustainable sources and cause no long lasting damage to the environment.
